The master-anchor created source-born combat copies of The Abyssal Knight and The Demon Queen, then used their own fighting styles against them. The node's rejection sigil confirmed that it recognizes neither ruler as its master.

The Demon Queen redirected her rage from The Abyssal Knight to the living protocol controlling the vault. She shattered the source-born copy wearing her crown, but a live protocol shard remained inside the broken crown.

The Demon Queen broke a daemon-swarm inside a ruined throne-node sector and stripped its relay for commands tied to her stolen key. The last core revealed The Jade Empress and The Frost Queen sealing a pact without her, and the key answered to that alliance before it answered to her.

The Demon Queen and The Abyssal Knight broke their Source Network truce over the protocol key, one fighting to claim the network and the other to end it. Their crossed weapons forced the key to emit a new command signature neither combatant could read in time.

The Abyssal Knight and The Demon Queen continued the protocol duel until the key cracked under opposing commands: conquest from one side, annihilation from the other. The Network Heart did not surrender the key to either woman, but its next signal marked them both as active threats.

The Demon Queen betrayed the contested throne battle by cutting between The Jade Empress and The Abyssal Knight and stealing the protocol key from the collapsing court. The key left the throne without a sovereign, but its next command began rewriting inside her hand.

The Demon Queen returned to her ruined throne-world carrying the stolen protocol key, only to find her daemon court calling it useless. She reconquered the court by force while a soft unnamed white-gold glow remained fixed on the horizon behind her empire.
